I’m organizing a small group photo shoot in what photographer’s like to call a Trash the Dress (TTD) session.  This will take place Sunday May 25th at Fort Worden State Park.  If you are a bride/model interested in participating, please contact me though my website.  This location is amazing, and we plan to spend the entire day there!

On Sunday since the weather was nice, and I was still in the Portland area, I met up with some previous clients, Bri and Wolfgang.  I talked them into doing a shoot at the Wooden Show Bulb Farm in Woodburn, Oregon. They were happy to join me for a fun shoot in the tulip fields. Here are a few of my favorites.

On our way out of the fields I saw this kid who was having a bast smelling the flowers. I gabbed my telephoto lens and just started shooting, I told the mom that I be happy to give her the photos, which was great seeing that she didn’t have her camera. I can’t wait for her to see those photos!

Last Saturday I had the distinct pleasure of working with Elizabeth and Patrick again, this time in their hometown of Portland, Oregon.  I joined them for the rehearsal on Friday night with some great food and drinks at Kells Irish Pub and Restaurant in downtown Potland. 

On Saturday afternoon I met up with Elizabeth at The Benson Hotel where she and her bridemaids were getting ready.  The ceremony and reception was right across the steet at the Treasury Ballroom.  The weather was amazing in the 80’s so we decided to do most of the portraits outside in front of the historic US Bank building. Thanks guys for a fun weekend, I hope your enjoying your honeymoon in Sunny Mexico!

On Sunday morning April 27th I’ll be hosting a special portrait event at the tulip fields in Mt. Vernon. For a special price of $150, I’ll do a 30 minute photo session. Hurry as space and times are limited.

Okay so the weather around here hasn’t been the greatest, but there was a break in the snow and rain and Kelly and Brian joined me Sunday morning for their engagement session.  They braved the near freezing temperatures and despite the weather conditions, we were still able to get some great shots. The location was Point Defiance Park, and the landscape was just starting to show spring, a far different look than last July when I photographed a wedding there.  I’ll be joining Kelly and Brian in June for their wedding. 

I have a few other spring portrait sessions planned in the coming weeks, even some in tulip fields!
