SubscribeEarly Sunday morning I flew back from San Jose and came back just with enough time to grab lunch and drive to Bremerton for the wedding of Jennifer and Orin.
Their ceremony and reception took place at the Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside. This is great location with lots of interesting areas for photos and the staff and food were great. It was my first time there and there was so much more to see, I look forward to my next visit there.

On Saturday I had the honor to work with Rosie and Bennie at their wedding in San Jose, CA. The weather was perfect (as it is most of the time down there) for their small outdoor ceremony. Their ceremony and reception took place at Paolo’s Restaurant and the staff and food were top notch. Thanks guys for a fun day!

On Tuesday evening I met up with Krista and Alejandro at Discovery Park for a portrait session. They were great subjects and were totally into having fun, which we all know translates into great pictures. Towards the end of the shoot Alejandro also brought out the guitar and played for a few songs, which made for more fun shots.
Krista sent me an email after she saw the photos online saying “I love them. I started to write down the ones I really liked and ended up having to stop because it was almost every picture.” Thanks for the great words Krista!
I’m in San Jose, California today shooting a wedding for Bella Pictures and I’ll be back tomorrow for another wedding back home in Bremerton.
This past Saturday I photographed the wedding of Rachel and Matthew at the First United Methodist Church in dowtown Seattle. The sanctuary is huge and even a wide angle lens could barely capture how impressive it really was.
Their cake also wins the award for the most unique I’ve seen this year, I just had to include a shot of it! The cake was made by a friend , and all of the items were made out of Marzipan (almond paste) and were completly edible.

On Monday I made the drive out to Ocean Shores to photograph a trash the dress (TTD) and tux session. My first willing couple was Rae and Andy who were out at the coast celebrating their second anniversary! Rae didn’t quite tell Adam what was going on, but he figured it out once they met me with cameras in hand.
The weather was great and the water wasn’t really that cold, thanks to Larry for venturing even farther out in the water than me (I had to keep the waist pack dry). They were great in front of the camera and I enjoyed the nearly two hours of time we had out on the beach.
I have more “Trash the Dress” sessions planned in the coming months, so if you are interested in trashing your own dress I’d love to hear from you!
