Katie and Ryan’s Wedding – Monte Villa Farmhouse

Katie and Ryan live in Las Vegas, but since family lived here, they decided that Washington would be the location for their wedding. I met up with them at the Monte Villa Farmhouse, this venue is tucked away in an industrial park near the Bothell/Mill Creek area. This location was one of the first weddings that I ever photographed over 10 years ago. Congratulations Katie and Ryan, it was a distinct pleasure working with you.

Kelly and Tony’s Wedding – Marysville Opera House

Kelly and Tony were married at the historic Marysville Opera House last September. The Opera House was originally built in 1911 and has been home to thousands of events. Something that is unique to this location is that in the bride’s cottage, there are two doors that have messages from all the couples that have had their weddings at this location. It fun to see all of messages that have been added over the years. We had yet another amazing weather day so we were able to get some outdoor portraits. Kelly really liked the Cinderella/Disney theme so that was carried over to the entire the wedding. Here are a few images from their day.

Jamieson and Christopher’s Wedding – Rainier Golf & Country Club, Des Moines

Jamieson and Chris were married at the Rainier Golf and Country Club near Des Moines. Jamieson actually works there as the catering manager, so she knows how to plan events and take care of her guests, but this time she had to take a step back, and let the staff take care of her. We had amazing weather, and even had a little time to explore some of golf course during their photo walk. Enjoy a few photos from their day.

Jeanne and Jacob’s Wedding – Bybee Blueberry Farms, North Bend

When I heard Jeanne and Jacob were having their wedding at a blueberry farm, a different location for a wedding indeed, and I was excited to see the location, At the base of Mount Si in North Bend is Bybee Farm. It’s U-pick farm that has been located there since the 1946. It was only a few years ago that they start using their location as a place for weddings and events. It works great as an outdoor space and they actually close a portion of the farm when there are weddings, so the location is all yours. I had a great time with Jeanne and Jacob, they had amazing weather for their wedding day.

Erin and James’ wedding – Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club

Erin and James were a fun couple, they were so easygoing that nothing could bother them on their wedding day. I met a great new vendor at this wedding, Shannon from Fete and Frolic. She was in charge of decorating for this event and she did a magnificent job and also made sure other logistics of the wedding day were taken care of. The day started at Twin Lakes for some getting ready, followed by their first look. Then Erin and James held their ceremony right down the road at Christ Lutheran Church, after that it was back to Twin Lakes for the rest of the photos and reception. It was great working with the crew from EWI/We Heart Weddings at this wedding.

Alysha and Mogo’s Wedding – Private Home, Federal Way

Alysha and Mogo were married at a relatives private home in the Marine Hills area of Federal Way. Their ceremony and reception were in the backyard and pool area of the home. It’s was a little tricky to move around and get all the angles, but luckily no one, including myself fell in the water! Mogo’s family cooked all the food for the wedding and they had more than enough! I enjoyed spending the day with them, enjoy a few favorites from their day.

Jessica and Joe’s Wedding – Shangri-La On The Green, Enumclaw

It’s not many times that I get to work for family, but for this wedding I did! My cousin Jessica married her best friend of many years, Joe. They are from the Enumclaw area, so they were looking for a place that was nearby, and fell in love with Shangri-La On The Green. It’s a great space for someone who likes the outdoors, there is even large waterfall on the property. While the weather was a bit colder than expected, there was no rain, and the sky even cleared for a bit during the ceremony.

One thing that stood out for me about this wedding is that Jessica made all of the flowers , and her Dad even grew some of the sunflowers used at the wedding. Jessica also has a floral business called J&J Floral, so if you are looking for someone with amazing talent, get in touch with her. It was such and honor capture their day for them, and the rest of the family.
