Karisa + Derin 5.28.10

It was great to finally kick off the wedding season, we are a bit slow for June but come July and August we have a full schedule, so look forward to a visual feast on the blog!

Karisa and Derin were married at The Ruins, a private dining club in Seattle.  The Ruins is located in lower Queen Anne that you may not recognize from the outside, but once you step inside the door you are transported to what seems like another place, where each room has it’s own unique decor.  The couple had a great ceremony and reception.  When it came time to party, the dance floor was packed and everyone was having a good time!

Karisa and Derin it was great working with you, and we wish you all the best as you start your new life together.

July 18, 2010 - 1:31 am Scentsy - Not only are these photo's beautiful, but the setting for the wedding was fabulous. Next time I am in Queen Anne I will be sure to check out this beautiful place.

May Senior Portrait Sessions

Here are a few from my sessions last month with a couple high school seniors, Kaitlin and Nick.  Both sessions took place at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma and we had to work around with crazy May weather with both sessions!  Congratulations graduates, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Heather + Alex Engagement Session

I met up with Heather and Alex on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for their engagement photo session.  We had a couple of ideas for locations in mind, but utmatley choose the UW Campus for their session.  They will be getting married in Portland, Oregon later this August, and I am honored to be a part of their wedding day celebration.

Elle + Nick 4.11.10

Elle and Nick were married at Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Club. The beautiful spring day provided us with stunning views of the surrounding mountains making for the perfect backdrop for their amazing day.  Just days before the wedding Elle told me there was snow on the ground, so the sun was a welcome addition to the wedding day. 

These two are fun, laid back,  they were willing to do just about anything for great photos, I enjoyed spending my time with them.

Congratulations again to Elle and Nick, as you start your new life together!

Come see our new studio space – open house this weekend!

It’s finally finished after months of planning.   We are excited to announce we are having an Open House this Saturday, April 17th from 11:00am-3:00pm and you are ALL invited!

Pass along the news to your friends and family! Come by for a tour and some refreshments. See the new face of JFK Studios and meet our extended family. We’ll be giving tours of the studio which includes an awesome shoot studio where we will now offer a wide range of (in addition to on-location sessions) in studio portrait sessions (Babies, Seniors, families, head shots, commercial & so much more!). Check out our gallery where we’ll be showcasing some of our favorite wedding images, you won’t want to miss this!

We think our new studio is just… well… swell!  But don’t take our word for it.  Come on by and see for yourself!!
